Fading into you

Fading into you

I was listening to The Midnight - Memories

I really enjoy the 80s synth vibe- my perfect period would have been to live in West Berlin in the mid to late 80s.

Well, I have gone through my hurt and pain with Amelia, as they say, time heals all wounds.  I wouldn't say time heals but merely numbs the pain.

My mum said, in your 40s you will start believing in fate, from my current dating experience- it seems we do have choices but life is like a trench already carved from we flow from the top as pristine droplets from a cloud...downstream, the result is all the same, sometimes we try to change course by sheer will and effort - the trench is too deep..

I don't know how things will work out in the future, but the last decade and a half has been as if I have been living life in a trance, I have just awakened from my slumber..

There are so many things I need to do and to catch up on

-Finances ( a messy) savings and investment would be nice.

-relationship (marriage? someone finally to settle down with)

-career ? research driven rather than rely on my current biennial contract.

yes lots of things to do...
